Classic Metal Roof Used On Universal Design Living Laboratory

Classic Metal Roofing Systems has provided its Oxford Shingle aluminum roofing system with unique ThermoBond Kynar 500® PVDF resin-based finish to the Universal Design Living Laboratory. The roof system was provided as our sponsorship of this very unique and meaningful laboratory home.

The Oxford Shingle roof system included the integrated Freedom Solar roofing system which Classic distributes. The Fredom Solar application will help to meet the home’s ongoing needs.

Built in Columbus, Ohio, the Universal Design Living Laboratory (UDLL) is a national demonstration home and garden that brings attention to three critical architectural design and building concepts: universal design, green sustainable building and healthy chemical-free materials. UDLL will serve to help people better understand how to create a more comfortable living environment that will enhance their quality of life. The Universal Design Living Laboratory will act as a resource to learn from – today and tomorrow.
