Wondering how to actually love your roof? Take time to ensure your roof is in great shape, performs well in your climate, and will protect you and yours for years to come.

If you live in a colder area, check for any damage caused by snow and ice. Ice dams are a risk to you, your family, and your property, so call a professional and consider snow guards to break up heavy snowfall.

If you live in a warmer area, dirt accumulation and biological growth are common, especially with a canopy of trees around your roof. However, a Classic Metal Roof’s PVDF finish outperforms the competition with excellent dirt resistance.

No matter where you live, trim tree branches that are getting too close to the roof and remove any organic material (leaves, seeds, etc.) that builds up over time. While asphalt shingles often develop unsightly mildew and spots, a metal roof is far less likely to have these problems.

We can’t forget proper ventilation, which reduces ice dams, the likelihood of condensation and mold growth, and lowers home energy costs. Your home’s roof collects heat, and if it isn’t directed outside by ventilation, it increases your home’s cooling loads and operating costs.

Beyond caring for your own roof, spread the love too. Everyone’s roof could benefit from more attention, especially those who can’t take care of it themselves. In 2021, we were blessed to share the love with several families in need. Darlene and Larry of Michigan and Ernesto and Isabel of California received a free roof from Isaiah in partnership with our local dealers.
