Summer Vacation Plans

If you take a vacation this summer and find yourself in west central Ohio, please stop by and see us. Classic Metal Roofing Systems is located in Piqua right off of I-75, just north of I-70, in a largely rural area of Ohio.

Piqua (pronounced PICK – wuh)

We’d love to meet you in our showroom, show you around our manufacturing plant, and even go on a little “roof looking tour”, if that interests you. An investment in a metal roof is a big decision and we’re here to work hard for your confidence.

There are other things to see in Piqua as well. It’s a great little town for manufacturing, including Hartzell Propeller that, since the beginning of aviation has been a leader in propeller technology. If you enjoy aviation, we’re not far from the National Museum of the US Air Force – a great place to spend several hours or even days! If you enjoy architecture, you will not want to miss Piqua’s beautiful and historic Fort Piqua Plaza.

If you’re still searching for your 2015 vacation destination, we have created a list of beautiful but seldom heard of places in the United States that you may wish to consider:

Antelope Canyon, Arizona. This pair of striking, slot canyons have beautiful, smoothly flowing layers of multi-hued red rocks.

Oneonta Gorge, Oregon.Next door to Multnomah Falls, this mossy canyon includes a beautiful creek and 120-foot waterfall.

Grand Prismatic Spring, Wyoming. The world’s third largest hot springs, the spring’s vivid colors of blue, green, red, yellow and orange are absolutely captivating.

Isle Royale National Park, Michigan.A rugged, natural island in Lake Superior known for hiking and kayaking amidst stunning scenery.

Buffalo National River, Arkansas. This 150-mile long river has beautifully scenic canyon walls as well as wildlife and fishing.

Montauk, New York. This eastern most town on Long Island has all the charm of an eastern seaboard coastal village but is usually less crowded than other Long Island destinations.

Deadwood, South Dakota.History comes alive in this old-west gold rush town that was frequented by Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane.

Bighorn Canyon, Wyoming.Spectacular views are the norm in this national park that is home to bighorn sheep, mule deer, wild horses, mountain lions, and black bears.

Taos, New Mexico.Located in the Sangre do Cristo Mountains, Taos is known for relaxing views, an active arts community, and a historic pueblo village.

We hope that you have some time for a great vacation this summer with rest, relaxation, and re-connecting with family and friends.
